I hate this ad. End of Financial Year Sale is what EOFYS is… and yet even though I know what it means/stands for everyday I watch the ad on TV I go: “WTF is EOFYS?”. The idea is good I guess… but done before:

Back to the EOFYS one… why the hell do you have Christmas decorations for “EOFYS” (Which by the way sounds Greek) It would’ve been better if they made special decorations just for the ad. But the main reason I hate this ad is because of its musical theme. And you’re thinking “Why do you like the Amazon one? Huh?”.
Well I like that one because, its funny and doesn’t evolve a family bursting into dance with the Foxtel guy showing at your door in the middle of the night, along with 50 other dancers that are supposed to be your neighbors. Also what would the name of the carols you sing on EOFYS? (Help me out here… my brain is dieing right now.)

The first few times I saw this, I could have sworn they were singing ‘happy Oedipus.’ If only that were the case! It is horribly annoying.

Once i used your poll to vite that i HATE this fucking ad it tells me that 60% of people voted that they have fox tel because of it.. well why the fuck were these people searching google for a website called I HATE EOFYS!? – Going onto the ad, fuck man.. im so lucky i have a volume control sor my surround sound so close, because every time it comes on im like john wayne. I HATE the original one the most, but they have started playing this toned down version which i fucking hate too, the way the bitch at the begining is himming along to the happy EOFYS tune as if its the best thing since sliced bread, oH! how much do i want to punch her! – and the part that gets to me the most after that… the eyeball roll she does at the end just as her husband is about to get up and shoot himself in the head. I NOW HATE FOXTEL BECAUSE OF THIS! its crazy!
